Today I received news that a close friend of mine has passed away. Carolyn Carter was a wonderful, caring and just good friend. She will be missed dearly.... Carolyn was a wonderful cook and we talked about our different recipes and all her cookbooks she cherished.

I'm sorry about your loss. I think we are all very blessed to have good friends in our lives to share ideas and recipes with. These sort of things keep their memory alive.
Thank you and yes sharing ideas and recipes do keep the memories alive. There is so much time spent in a kitchen during family get-to-gethers and just in general. A special aroma from the kitchen will bring back memories.. I'm sure Carolyn's family will have such days, when they cook up some of her recipes...
