Grilled Thai Pork Skewers

Tip:  Read directions completely before preparing.

Ingredients:
1 ½ pounds, boneless pork shoulder
3 tablespoons, brown sugar
¾ teaspoon salt
5 cloves garlic, very thinly sliced
2 tablespoons, fish sauce
2 tablespoons, coconut milk
bamboo skewers

Directions:
Slice the pork into thin pieces, about 1 ½ inch by 2 inch pieces, place in large bowl and set aside.

For the marinade, in a bowl combine brown sugar, salt, garlic, fish sauce and coconut milk.

Pour marinade over pork slices and mix until thoroughly covered.  Cover bowl and refrigerate for 4 hours.

Remove sliced pork from refrigerator and thread onto skewers.  Grill pork until well done.  You may grill outside over a charcoal grill or inside on your stovetop grill!  Enjoy!

Tip:  These are served as an appetizer in Thailand.  There are tons of recipes for these grilled pork skewers, but I found this the easiest and taste great!  Great when served with a side salad and rice for a complete meal.
