Puerto Rican Pique

A vinegar based hot sauce. It is a seasoned, spicy liquid crafted by steeping whole or chopped hot peppers, garlic, herbs, and spices in vinegar. Here’s my recipe. There are several recipes out there. Some add, pineapple, and even a dash of rum!

Need some spice on your foods? Make a bottle of instant kick of heat! Puerto Rican Piqué adds an instant kick of heat while cutting through the richness of fried or roasted foods. When you splash it on your plate, its acidic vinegar base refreshes the palate, while garlic brings out the earthy, savory flavors of a meal. Here’s the recipe.
